Mandy Storm & the Cherry Bombs, a newcomer to the Rockabilly and Rhythm and blues scene, brings a repertoire  from the 50's. Think Brenda Lee, Janis Martin and Ruth Brown. But she also knows how to bring music by Lily Locksmith beautifully.

All mixed up with her own written songs, a pleasure to listen to. You can best describe her music as rockabilly with strong influences of rhythm and blues.

Assisted by seasoned musicians, she brings you an experience not to be missed.

50's Rock 'n' Roll band from Holland. 

The Band was formed in may 1982 and already two months later the band presented itself live on stage for the first time. It was obvious that the musicians had to choose an appropriate name for the band.The name of the band came together when Ron stumbled on a fifties band Ron Haydock and the Boppers.Because the name Ron Haydock sounded great and really was the band name in the good old tradition of the fifties with bands like Bill Haley and the Comets etc, etc the guys decided to pick Ronnie Nightingale and the Haydocks as the name of their band. From that time the band only released records under the name Ronnie Nightingale and The Haydocks.

Mischief! Is one of the most refreshing bands on the Rockin’ Scene today. Their high-energy live shows are fantastic, and it’s hard to believe that three musicians can produce such a full sound and perform such a varied set. These guys are not afraid to enjoy themselves. When you see them live, you know from the moment they hit the stage, and you see Daze swinging his guitar, that you’re in for a good time! Add Richard’s broad smile and Pat’s obvious enthusiasm and you just know, instinctively, that you’re in for a treat!  They’ll jump around, share jokes with the audience and display an infectious sense of fun. Nobody leaves their shows without feeling breathless. 

Mischief! capture the true spirit of rock’n’roll. They’re not slaves to vintage, trying to recreate a period-perfect sound which would hold back their creativity. They play new and exciting music with a big dash of 50s energy.  A large proportion of the songs are written by the band, producing modern classics that will undoubtedly stand the test of time. Listen carefully, and you’ll hear shades of Charlie Feathers, Eddie Cochran and maybe even a little bit of The Everley Brothers on speed!

Blast Off brengt een ode aan hun helden; Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker en Slim Jim Phantom. Inderdaad… de 3 enthousiaste muzikanten van dit Rockabilly trio zijn geen lookalikes maar… hun vertolking van de bekende Stray Cats hits zoals Sexy and 17, Stray Cat strut, Runaway boys, Rock this town en Rumble in Brighton raakt je gegarandeerd! Het explosieve trio bestaat uit staande drummer Math Meijers (o.a. ex. Hot Rod Riot) en zanger / gitarist Mark Tielemans (Hot Rod Riot, The Rockin’Rhythm Cats) en Deon Buck (o.a. ex CC Jerome’s Jet Setters, ex Blue Moon trio en The Rockin’ Rhythm Cats) op double bass.

Bamboozle combines singer/bassist/songwriter Serena Sykes, lighting up the stage with her dynamic performances, electric vocal and daring double bass stunts, with internationally renowned singer/guitarist/songwriter Jim Knowler (The Keytones, Gotz Alsmann), injecting his exciting and instantly recognisable guitar riffs. The Rockin’ Rhythm Cats is een Rock ’n Roll / Rockabilly trio met een repertoire dat het beste is te omschrijven als spicy Rock’n Roll & juicy Rockabilly.

De band komt uit het zuiden van het land (Limburg / Brabant) en speelt met name bekende nummers van de grootste artiesten uit de jaren 50. Absoluut Rock ’n Roll maar dan wel in een eigen jasje en voorzien van een ruig randje. Daardoor valt de band in de smaak bij een breed publiek en past een optreden van The Rockin’ Rhythm Cats niet alleen op een Rockabilly event maar ook op festivals, bij Motorclubs, autotreffen, op vette feesten maar ook gewoon gezellig in jouw eigen stamkroeg!

De band met als frontman Mark Tielemans (zang en slag- en sologitaar) bestaat verder uit Coen Molenschot op drums en Deon Buck op contrabas. Drie doorgewinterde muzikale mannen die met de nodige ervaring garant staan voor een avondje spetterende Rock ’n Roll en Rockabilly waarbij alleen maar stil blijven staan en luisteren geen optie is.

Repertoire

Wat mag je verwachten van het repertoire dat The Rockin’ Rhythm Cats spelen? Een avond met deze band is altijd gevarieerd te noemen en toegankelijk voor een breed publiek. Rock ’n Roll hits van weleer worden afgewisseld met bekende maar ook minder voor de hand liggende Rockabilly pareltjes. Denk aan songs als: Are you Ready, Crazy Blues, You made hit, Stood up, One hand loose, Try me, Baby I don’t care, If I had my a woman en That ain’t nothing but right maar ook aan Just because, Stray Cats strut, No brakes, Gene and Eddie en zelfs all time klassiekers zoals Folsom prison blues, Hound dog en Great balls of fire…

And so, in September 1980 the long affray began, a group of teenagers met in South London to begin their journey onto the great wide-open plains of creativity. Clint Bradley, Carlo and Stef Edwards, Mitch Caws, along with guest saxophonist Clive Osbourne, had their first rehearsal together in Carshalton and began a quest that continues to this day. From the outset it was clear to all of them that they wanted to begin creating their own identity and not repeat what any of them had done previously. Right from the start they set about crafting their own sound. The Blue Cats would not be a sound-alike band, that time was past for all of them! They would take all the musical influences that they had collectively as a band and create something entirely new. This was far from plain sailing and they had to deal with a lot of opposition in the beginning and still do to this day, but it was their way or nothing. They played their first gig together in Holland in October 1980. 

As soon as they returned to the UK, they dived headfirst into new and uncharted seas. They wanted to take Rockabilly onto another plain, to pay homage to everything about it that they loved but also add the energy and vitality of their own contemporary musical surroundings. The early eighties was an exciting time to be forming a band regardless of what music you were into. The whole post punk thing was happening, and new clubs were springing up all over the place. Within months they had started to build up a new kind of following that had not been seen before, one of a lot more colour and diversity. Remember at that time there was no real established Neo-Rockabilly/Psychobilly scene, what they were doing was completely unheard of. Clive Osbourne departed as the sound became more radical and original songs began replacing the 50’s cover versions. And thus, the classic Neo-Rockabilly combo was born. 

The Blue Cats return. 

In 2012 they released the much-lauded album “Best Dawn Yet” featuring the acclaimed single “Billy Ruffians” and follow up E.P. “The Norton Spirit” and in 2013 their first ever live album “On a Live Mission”. 

Since then they have toured continuously taking their own brand of original and progressive Neo- Rockabilly to all those who invite them to perform. Their reputation as the original Neo Rockabilly masters is now universally set in stone. 

2023 finds them working on brand new material for their next studio album, which may possibly go into production in 2024. Whatever the future holds you can be sure it will be something different from what has gone before. They ‘ve travelled their own road and done it their own way since September 1980! They have never compromised and never will, the music they make is their message to all those who would try and put them down and wipe away what they have accomplished. Dat aangevuld met all time Rock ’n Roll hits als Blue suede shoes, Hound dog, Oh boy, Peggy Sue, Great balls of fire en Johnny B Good maakt een optreden van Hot Rod Riot verrassend veelzijdig en gevarieerd voor jong en oud!

About The Delta Bombers

With their soul riveting live performances and time wrenching sound, The Delta Bombers make music that is style bent as the town they come from. The band met in Las Vegas as teenagers and embarked from 2008 playing everywhere from ritzy Las Vegas Strip casinos to rural cantinas in Mexico and the loneliest dives the USA has to offer. For years the band toiled in their trusty series of vans and short school buses until the anticipated recording and release of their newest album “Neon Sounds”. The 11 drum and bass heavy songs are free of genre convention but heavy in melody and song writing sensibility, transporting their audiences to a world that values content and creativity over trend.
